The Africa Film Academy in its quest to enhance capacity in different aspects of film making and promote the growth of the motion picture industry is set to train over 1000 youths across Africa via Film-In-A-Box, a practical, hands on training school established to equip aspiring and emerging film makers with requisite skills needed to succeed in the film industry.
The first in the series of Film-In-A-Box trainings scheduled across the continent will hold on the 25th-26th of February in Lagos, Nigeria.
The workshop with the theme SO YOU WANT TO ACT? will run master classes to be led by notable resource persons and industry leaders which include multiple award winners and two-time AMAA winners, Joke Silva and Kunle Afolayan. Other resource persons include Mildred Okwo, Sonny Mcdon among others.
The training modules will cover Basic Legal Knowledge for actors, Acting, Script Interpretation, Image Management, Make-Up among others. Debbin, a renowned industry photographer, will coordinate a photo shoot for all participants.

I will start by appreciating the Organiser, you guys( African Film Academy) have really tried to the improvement of the movie industry, and as you guys continue with the good work God in Heaven will see you all through and give you the strenght to do more. But what i want to knw is that, those it require any qualification? Or Experience? Talent haunt? Or you guys will be the one to teach all the participants on what they ought to know? Please i really need to get feedback on this because am interested. Thank you very much.
