Rumour has been circulating that D’banj was dead after a post appeared on a website, which went on to implicate Don Jazzy. The troubling news surfaced after the Dana airplane crash in lagos which at last count claimed at least 162 lives.

The crazy story had it that Dbanj was shot dead by three gunmen in atlanta after leaving kanye west’s studio .

D’banj however swiftly moved to debunk the story via his verified twitter handle, as well as wish peace to the casualties of the Dana Crash.
He twitted :”Pls ignore the nonsense rumours. I’m very much alive and well! Thanks be to God! Thank you 4 all ur concern. #PrayForNigeria#DanaCrash #RIP”
