10Ten

Osagie Olayinka Onobun was born in the late 80′s, the last child in a family of five. He had his primary, secondary education in Lagos and briefly studied at the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) before he dropped out to focus on his movie career. He has his stage name as 10ten and when asked why he has chosen the stage name, he says “10 is the number for excellence and I like excellent works, adding to the fact that I was born on the 10th of October.”

10ten drops out of the university when he realizes the fact, he’ not doing well with his grades, so he chooses to direct his life instead of letting the society and general views decide for him, which could lead to dissatisfaction.

He chooses to do music because that’s what is appealing to him. According to the upcoming artiste, music is not just a money making venture but the passion he has for it, drives him. “Music remains my first choice. It is a strong medium for change, inspiration, relaxation and I have chosen to contribute to my generation through my music” he adds.

His single titled “Mo Feran re” a Yoruba love song will be released soon. An artiste doing everything, ranging from discovering himself to the management level remain his greatest challenges.
In the industry, he respects D’ Banj, Tu Face, Omawunmi, M.I, just to mention a few.

In the next few years to come, he sees himself to that exact point that will reward all his good works and carve a niche for himself. He seeks to create an enabling platform that youths should be able to own their future.
