Dalahs

Flip open your Oxford English Dictionary and look up these words; Genius, Aptitude, Flair. Whatever you find underneath these three different adjectives, paint a decent picture of Oderah ‘Dalahs’ Ogbodo.

This young ‘information and communication technology’ student of the University of Greenwich, London has used these aforementioned adjectives to carve out a niche for himself in what is in many respects, a fiercely competitive musical scene. He has done this by underscoring and sticking to his unique attributes, rather than joining the chorus.

Confusing? Download and listen to his singles at the closing paragraph of this brief appraisal and thank me later.  At Cruise Nigeria, we are bent on digging  out diamonds in the dirt and polishing them to glisten- we are interested in seeking underground kings, and crowning  them- and this quest for identifying and promoting  talent has necessitated this ‘artiste review’.

Having released four singles off his anticipated album, and forged numerous artiste alliances with budding UK-based artistes such as AMAZING, Dalahs, is slowly but surely becoming a force to be identified with, as far as Afro-rap music is concerned and he makes a decent case with his singles which you can download off this article.

He is in many ways also, an example to young Nigerian acts, who have aspirations of pursuing career in music- in  that you needn’t  toe the paths of American sensations; Tupac and Eminem  by dropping from school to chase your dreams. Dalahs has proved that they can go hand in hand.  Music and school are no enemies.

We hope you enjoy his songs:
