Cruise Unsung Hype: JULY 2012- Daniel ’3nity’ Aneke!

The quest to find and crown Nigeria’s finest underground music King is a herculean expedition, but one that Cruise Nigeria is equal to. Every month, we discover an unsung talent and sing their songs.

It is our little way of paying tribute to the immense talent inherent in the most populated black nation on planet earth. We celebrate them, and give you a chance to take a glimpse into the future of African Hiphop.

Daniel Aneke, aka 3nity who hails from Delta State, belongs to this class of unsung Nigerian talents. The young singer cum rapper has demonstrated by his unique talents. And after listening to his singles- which you can download, when you scroll to the end of this essay- we are convinced without a shadow of a doubt that he has what it takes to attain superstardom.

Speaking of his sojourn so far, 3nity narrates to Cruise Nigeria; “I attended Emarid College in Port-Harcourt city and now I am in UNIPORT, with the humanities faculty. I have two siblings; one boy and one girl. They have been huge inspirations and were the ones who even gave me a head start in the entertainment field. My sister sings in the RCCG choir and my brother was a famous dancer in church, so since I saw them carving niches for themselves in their own different fields, I thought, why don’t I try something?

My ambition is to actually make songs, in the sing along sense, that when people hear a song from 3nity they will think about all the happy moments in their lives, and yes boss, I know that’ll not be easy in Nigeria, because if you were not born and bred on the grind and day to day activities of a common Nigerian child, teenager, youth, and even adult, your music will not stand the test of time. But that’s why I have people like my producer “IQbeatz” who the first day I met him asked me if I wanted to “BLOW” in Nigerian music? Of course my answer was ‘yes’”, the ever cheerful 3nity narrated in coherent English.

We echo his sentiments and push it a notch further, by crowning him Unsung Hype King of the month of July, 2012.
