Nigeria’s JAMES IBORI gets transferred to maximum security jail

The convicted former governor of Delta State, James Ibori has been transferred to a maximum-security prison, Long Lartin Prison in South Littleton, Worcestershire.

UK prison officials confirmed the transfer, but they would not say what motivated the move. 

Long Lartin Prison is a maximum security prison for sentenced Category A adult males (though the prison does hold some sentenced Category B inmates), with all inmates serving a minimum sentence of four years. In addition the prison holds Category A remand prisoners awaiting trial.
